A.D. 1906, are mounted in a base or support formed of cork, sand, celluloid, sheet metal, aluminium, &c. Fig. 1 shows a device for use in a bath, consisting of canes a having their upper surfaces cut away and mounted in a base b. The device is supplied with air through a pipe c by a hand-pump or otherwise, or with steam, carbon-dioxide, &c. |
