Summary: | 7501. Stephens, B. F. April 10. Eye instruments.-The eyes are placed against the cups B, B, and air exhausted by a ball A so that the eyes are drawn into the cups, which are suitably shaped and have spring buttons C to receive the corner. The tubes A , A' can be adjusted at the requisite distance apart, and either journalled or slightly diverging, by right and left handed screws and nuts E, E, F, F, a clamp G fixing them when in position. The ball A is fitted with finger discs 6 and with an inwardly-projecting stop to limit its compression. |
