Explosives.-Consists in adding 66 to 71 parts of a mixture of 47 parts of ammonium perchlorate and 34 parts of sodium nitrate to 29 to 34 parts of a mixture of trinitro- and tetranitronaphthalene, in the presence of 4 to 8 per cent of water, and desiccating the product after compression, which then attains a density of 1.33 to 1.62.
