A games racket consists of a frame 24, made of aluminium, formed with an inside channel 36, and walls 41 and 42 formed as overhanging lips of the channel. A string support 26 has two bases 32, 33 which engage the overhanging walls 41, 42 respectively, and a hollow portion 34 for receiving a string 31, the string being inserted before the second base 32 is fitted against wall 41. A slat 40 is inserted between the bases to firmly anchor the string support 26 in the channel. |
