Summary: | 1,189,867. Inking and damping rollers. ADAMOVSKE STROJIRNY NADORNI PODNIK. 8 Aug., 1967 [8 Aug., 1966], No. 36294/67. Heading B6C. An inking or damping roller 12 of a printing machine is locked in position in the machine by a device provided at each end of the roller which clocks the relevant bearing 11 in a recess 10 provided in a spring-loaded support member 5 forming part of the device. As shown the two devices, which are mounted on a common shaft 1, each comprise a spring- loaded semicircular shaped member 13 which is pivotally mounted at 15 on a sleeve 3 fixedly connected to the shaft 1. The member 13 3 carries a part-cylindrical face 17 the curvature of which is eccentric relative to the pivot 15 this face wedging against the associated surface of bearing 11 when the member 13 is in roller-locking position. |
