A spring clip and mounting bar assembly comprises a clip having a pair of limbs 3, 4 joined by a yoke 5 and having a slot 8 in or near the yoke, and a bar 2 having a lateral projection 9 lying within the slot to prevent rotation of the bar relative to the clip. As shown, a tongue 7 pressed out from the limb 4 retains the bar within the clip. The bar may be provided with a second similar projection which engages a second slot in the clip. The clip and, or, the bar may be of metal or of plastics material.
