Summary:1,062,982. Circuits employing bi-stable magnetic elements. ELECTRIC & MUSICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Nov. 28, 1963 [Nov. 28, 1962], No. 44916/62. Heading H3B. In an arrangement, Fig. 2, for connecting and terminating parallel digit and sense windings in a thin film magnetic store of the kind described in Specification 1,042,333, printed wiring 2, 3 on opposite sides of a fibreglass reinforced resin sheet 8 forms terminal leads for the sense (or digit) windings, and printed wiring 4, 5, terminates in a resistor 6 having the characteristic impedance of the digit (or sense) windings, for which wiring 4, 5 forms terminal leads; wiring 4 has a movable bridge 9 which is soldered in such position, crossing over wiring 5, as to produce a desired value, e.g. zero, of mutual inductance between the sense and digit windings. Wiring 5 may also comprise an adjustable bridge. In a modification, Fig. 4 (not shown), the resistor (6) forms the crossover, adjustable bridge (9) being connected to terminate the printed wiring (4, 5).
