Le procédé comprend : la fixation du germe sur le plateau inférieur; l'introduction d'une solution de cristallisation de densité ds dans la cuve ; le traitement de la solution pour la rendre sursaturée ; la mise en contact du germe avec la solution sursaturée ; la mise en rotation de la plateforme jusqu'à l'obtention du monocristal.
