Summary:A clutch mechanism (10) includes a friction disc (20) defining a reference axis (100) of the clutch mechanism (10) and a torsion damper (24) having at least one associated rotating member A rotatable member (44) which is non-associated with the friction disc (20) and is rotatable about the reference axis (100) relative to the friction disc (20) and is fixed to the friction disc (20) (40) associated with the friction disc (20), and at least one spring (46) arranged to operate when the rotary member (44) not associated with the friction disc (20) rotates relative to the rotary member (40) associated with the friction disc (20) about the reference axis (100). The friction disc (20) is not in direct contact with the rotary member (40) associated with the friction disc (20), one or more spacers (64, 164, 264) being interposed axially between the friction disc (20) and the rotating member (40) associated with the friction disc (20).
