The belt conveyor is connected to a vacuum application device (24) for applying vacuum to the PET bottles, so as to suck the mouth of the bottles by the vacuum bar while conveying the bottles in a state of suction by the vacuum bar. An independent claim is also included for a method for orientation of PET bottles.
