Summary:The strut (7) has a wiper rod (5) transmitting drive movement of a drive motor (2) to a wiper shaft (6). A link rod body of the wiper linkage is provided with joint shells (8, 9) that are extended above a front side of the rod body. An arc-shaped reinforcing bar is extended above an angular segment of 180 degrees. The reinforcing bar is arranged in parallel to a central plane of the rod body. The joint shells are connected with a stiffening rib that is extended at an angle of the reinforcing bar. The joint shells are placed above a connection section.
