Summary:The assembly has a power electronic module (1) comprising a case (3), in which the electronic module is received, and a connecting pad (10). A connecting tab (12) provides connection between a respective pin of the connecting pad and a respective pin of an electronic control board (2). The connecting tab is designed by considering form and/or dimension and/or material such that an end (13) of the connecting tab to be brought in contact with the respective pin of the connecting pad by welding takes a position within a range of field positions, while providing electrical connection. The connecting tab's end to be connected to the respective pin of the board is surrounded by molding i.e. plastics material. An independent claim is also included for an electric vehicle.
