La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un film organique à la surface d'un support solide comprenant les étapes consistant à (a) appliquer, sur ladite surface, par transfert ou par projection, une solution contenant au moins un sel d'aryle clivable ; (b) soumettre ladite solution à une irradiation UV ou visible moyennant quoi des entités radicalaires sont formées à partir du sel d'aryle clivable et un film organique est greffé. La présente invention concerne également un kit d'éléments pour la mise en œuvre d'un tel procédé.
