Summary:The method involves injecting combustible liquid into a sputtering zone (10) along flow direction under pressure of 3 to 10 bar, and transforming the liquid flow in turbulent water whose flow is rotational around the flow direction. The turbulent water is injected into the sputtering zone. Gas e.g. vapor, air, oxygen-enriched and recycled flue gases and carbon dioxide, is sprayed into the sputtering zone around the turbulent water according to the flow direction such that the gas is in contact with the turbulent water and forms a liquid-gas spray. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a mechanically-assisted sprayer comprising a combustible liquid injector channel (2) a burner comprising an injector.
