Summary: | The pump (1) has a cylindrical casing (2) containing a vane rotor rotating in a chamber, where air from the chamber escapes through an opening (5) and is fed into a sound-proof chamber (8) contiguous to the casing. The sound-proof chamber is in the form of a toric chamber arranged around the casing. A single hole (10) is formed on a front surface of the toric chamber for exhausting free air. The toric chamber is concentrically held on the casing by elastic spacers (9) that assure a space between the casing and the toric chamber. The toric chamber is made of molded plastic.
