The system (1) has an activation unit (7) for permitting operation of an anti-roll actuator control device (2) as soon as a motor vehicle is started. A supervision unit (10) sets the control device in an operating mode compatible with availability of information e.g. longitudinal speed (Vx) of the vehicle, availability of an energy source of anti-roll actuators (3) for operating the actuators and availability of an energy control source that supplies energy to the control device. An independent claim is also included for a method for supervising a control device that controls anti-roll actuators of a vehicle.
