The advancement distance between lower and upper jaw bones is altered through use of interlinked cast in occlusal splits. The interchangeable connecting portion is formed in the intermediate zone for adjusting position between two opposing jaw bones. The upper and lower flanges of connecting portion are inserted into recesses for stabilization using set screws.
