Coating keratin materials involves applying to the keratin materials at least one coat of a first composition and at least one coat of a second composition or a mixture of the two compositions. The first and/or second composition comprises at least one compound A and/or at least one compound B and optionally at least a catalyst or a peroxide. The compounds A and B are silicone compound and are capable of reacting together via a hydrosilylation reaction or a condensation reaction, or a crosslinking reaction in the presence of a peroxide, when they are placed in contact with each other. Coating keratin materials involves applying to the keratin materials at least one coat of a first composition and at least one coat of a second composition or a mixture of the two compositions. The first and/or second composition comprises at least one compound A and/or at least one compound B and optionally at least a catalyst or a peroxide. The compounds A and B are silicone compound and are capable of reacting together via a hydrosilylation reaction or a condensation reaction, or a crosslinking reaction in the presence of a peroxide, when they are placed in contact with each other. Provided that the compounds A and B, and the catalyst or the peroxide, are not present together in the same compositions. The mixture is obtained either extemporaneously before application to the keratin materials, or simultaneously with its application to the keratin materials. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) cosmetic composition for coating keratin materials, comprising the compound A and compound B and at least one pigment other than carbon black and iron oxides; and (2) kit for coating keratin materials comprising the compound A and/or compound B and optionally at least the catalyst or a peroxide. L'invention a pour objet une composition cosmétique de revêtement des matières kératiniques comprenant au moins un composé A et au moins un composé B, l'un au moins des composé A et B étant un composé siliconé et l'un au moins des composé A et B étant porteur d'au moins un groupe polaire susceptible de former au moins une liaison hydrogène avec les matières kératiniques, lesdits composés A et B étant susceptibles de réagir ensemble par hydrosilylation, condensation, ou réticulation en présence d'un péroxyde.
