The module has support and blocking rollers (13, 14) to adapt a frame (10) on a carrier structure. A connection unit (18) connects an automaton (17) that controls a machine tool (15), to a central automaton. The automaton (17) receives an order of starting a step of fabricating a complex mechanical part from the central automaton and sends information indicating an end of the fabrication step to the central automaton. External control units (20) permit an operator to start the fabrication step. An independent claim is also included for an automatic installation for the partial fabrication of a mechanical part.
