The device has a divider (110) including an input port (111) and an output port (112), and a combiner (130) including an input port (131) and an output port (132). An active zone (120) is disposed between the output port of the divider and the input port of the combiner. The input port of the divider and the output port of the combiner are situated on both sides of an axis (Y) passing through a center of the active zone and parallel to the direction of paths of signal which propagates in the zone and is symmetrical with respect to the center. An independent claim is also included for a method for processing a signal.
