Summary:The water and condensate separator (11) for an installation having at least one condenser connected to a vapour outlet duct consists of a reservoir (15) with an inlet manifold (18) connected to a condenser outlet. The reservoir contains lower and upper level detectors having densities equal to and below that of water respectively to measure the levels of water and condensed vapours. It has separate outlets (12, 13) for water and condensates, the first in the bottom of the reservoir, and the second in its side wall, connected to a pipe that returns the condensates to a storage tank. The two outlets are controlled by actuators (21, 22) linked to a control circuit which also has a meter for measuring the amount of condensate collected over a given period. Le dispositif de séparation (11), destiné à séparer l'eau des condensats de composés organiques volatils comporte un réservoir (15) comportant un collecteur d'entrée (18) relié à un conduit d'arrivée des condensats obtenus en sortie d'un condenseur, un premier capteur de niveau de l'eau disposé dans une partie basse du réservoir (15) et relié à un conduit de refoulement (12) de l'eau, et un second capteur de niveau des condensats de composés organiques volatils, disposé dans une partie haute du réservoir (15) et relié à un conduit de retour en cuve (13) des condensats de composés organiques volatils. L'évacuation de l'eau et de condensats de composés organiques volatils est contrôlée par un circuit de contrôle commandant l'ouverture et la. fermeture de vannes (21, 22) pendant une période prédéterminée.
