Summary:The device has a seat belt module with a seat belt fixing unit (48) coupled and uncoupled with a seat belt strap in attached and detached configurations, respectively. A warning signal generator (82) generates and transmits a warning signal relative to a seat belt, outside a cab interior of a vehicle, when occupant and seat belt detectors respectively detect that a seat cushion (34) is occupied and the module is in detached configuration. An independent claim is also included for a method of generating and transmitting a warning signal relative to a seat belt by a seat module and a seat belt module of a vehicle.
