Independent claims are also included for: (1) converting carbon monoxide to C 2 +> hydrocarbons in the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst to produce a hydrocarbon effluent comprising more than 70 mole% of a mixture of C 6-C 1 2 hydrocarbons (50-90 mole%) and C 1 3-C 2 4 hydrocarbons (10-50 mole%); (2) C 2 +> hydrocarbon effluent comprising hydrocarbons, methane and carbon dioxide and containing more than 70 mole% of a mixture of C 6-C 1 2 hydrocarbons (50-90 mole%) and C 1 3-C 2 4 hydrocarbons (10-50 mole%). L'invention a pour objet un procédé de transformation de monoxyde de carbone en hydrocarbures C2+ en présence d'hydrogène et d'un catalyseur comprenant un métal et un support contenant du carbure de silicium caractérisé en ce que le support contient plus de 50% en poids de carbure de silicium sous forme bêta.L'invention a aussi pour objet un procédé de transformation de monoxyde de carbone en hydrocarbures C2+ en présence d'hydrogène et d'un catalyseur.L'invention a aussi pour objet l'effluent ainsi obtenu.
