2-Pyridone hydrazones (I) are new. 2-Pyridone hydrazones of formula (I) are new: [Image] A : H, acyl, 1-4C alkylsulfonyl or arylsulfonyl, optionally substituted with Me, 1-2C alkoxy or COOH; R1OH, OR6, COOH, alkoxycarbonyl, CONH2, SO3H, SO2H, 1-4C alkylsulfonyl, 1-4C alkylsulfinyl, SO2NH2 or NR7R8; R61-4C alkyl, 1-4C hydroxyalkyl, (1-4C)alkoxy(1-4C)alkyl, 1-4C aminoalkyl, 1-4C (di)alkylaminoalkyl or 2-4C (poly)hydroxyalkylaminoalkyl; R7, R8H, SO3H, acyl, CONH2 or 1-6C alkyl optionally substituted with OH, 1-2C alkoxy, SO3H, SO2NH2, COOH, CONH2, 1-4C alkylsulfonyl, NH2, 1-4C (di)alkylamino or 2-4C (poly)hydroxyalkylamino; R2-R5H, halo, OH, OR9, COOH, alkoxycarbonyl, CONH2, SO3H, SO2H, 1-4C alkylsulfonyl, 1-4C alkylsulfinyl, 1-4C thioether, SO2NH2, 1-4C alkyl (optionally substituted with OH, 1-4C alkoxy, NH2, COOH, CONH2, 1-4C alkylsulfonyl, SO3H, sulfoxide, SO2NH2 or NR7R8) or NR10R11; NR10R11NR7R8 or is a 5- to 8-membered ring optionally containing O, N, S, SO2 or NR1 and optionally substituted with halo, 1-4C alkyl (optionally substituted with OH, 1-4C alkoxy, COOH, alkoxycarbonyl, CONH2, sulfonyl, SO2NH2 or NR7R8), COOH, alkoxycarbonyl, CONH2, SO3H, SO2NH2, OH, 1-4C alkoxy, 2-4C hydroxyalkoxy, amido, 1-4C alkylsulfonylamino, 1-4C thioether, 1-4C alkylsulfinyl, 1-4C alkylsulfonyl or NR7R8. Independent claims are also included for: (1) composition for dyeing keratinic fibers, comprising one or more compounds (I) or their acid addition salts and one or more couplers; (2) oxidation dyeing of keratinic fibers by applying the above composition and developing the color with an oxidizing agent; (3) kit comprising a composition as above in one compartment and an oxidizing agent in another compartment; (4) colored product resulting from the reaction of (I) with a coupler in the presence of an oxidizing agent. L'invention a pour objet une nouvelle composition tinctoriale utile pour la teinture par oxydation des fibres kératiniques, en particulier des cheveux humains comprenant à titre de base d'oxydation une hydrazone hétérocyclique à 6 chaînons particulière ainsi que le procédé de teinture les mettant en oeuvre.L'invention a aussi pour objet des hydrazones hétérocycliques à 6 chaînons nouvelles.
