L'invention permet d'accroître la résistance à la corrosion fissurante d'un fil métallique sous contraintes en introduisant par traitement de surface par brossage des contraintes de compression à la surface apparente du fil métallique.L'invention s'applique notamment à la fabrication de conduite flexible armée de fils métalliques. Les fils de renfort subissent un traitement de surface par brossage après la pose des fils sur la conduite flexible.
