Elle comporte un châssis (1) portant un tambour (5) équipé de dents (9) s'étendant en saillie vers l'extérieur du tambour, des organes moteurs (10, 11) pour entraîner le tambour en rotation, et un organe de commande (6) d'un angle d'inclinaison de l'axe de rotation du tambour par rapport à la direction d'avancement du véhicule tracteur, les dents (9) étant disposées selon deux tronçons d'hélices divergents par référence au sens de rotation du tambour.
