Summary:The prosthesis according to the invention is of the type in which the tibial plateau (14) is mounted so as to pivot with respect to the intermediate plateau (20)/anchoring rod (21) assembly of the tibial element (4). According to the invention, the axis of pivoting of the tibial plateau (14) relative to the said intermediate plateau (20)/anchoring rod (21) assembly is laterally offset towards the interior of the knee, and means (31, 33) for limiting this pivoting are provided.
