Summary:The femoral implant for a hip prosthesis, in the form of a shaft (1) intended to be introduced into the medullary cavity, is distinguished by the fact that the shaft has, in its proximal area (1a), and in the frontal plane, ribs (1b) which are suitably oriented in a radius of curvature (R1-R2) corresponding to the movement of introduction of the said shaft into the medullary cavity.
