Summary:Clutch-release thrust bearing with guided elastic self-centring, comprising a rolling bearing (1) equipped with rolling elements (6) mounted between a stationary race (4) and a rotating race (9) capable of interacting with a clutch-release device, a guide sleeve (2) having a cylindrical portion (16) capable of sliding axially with respect to a guide tube (3), and a radial collar (17) in guiding contact with a radial surface portion (8) of the stationary race (4) of the bearing (1) and adapted to as to transmit the axial forces of a control member. A plurality of elastic tongues (18) extending axially form a ring of cylindrical general shape, at least some of the said tongues (18) having, in the vicinity of their free end opposite the radial collar (17) of the guide sleeve (2), a contact bearing surface (21) capable of interacting with the stationary race (4) with a view to the elastic self-centring of the thrust bearing, and a protuberance forming a hook (22) capable of axially inter-linking the rolling bearing (1) and the guide sleeve (2).
