Method for converting a tennis court into a golf-training area and training areas resulting from this conversion. According to this method, a strip of artificial turf 1 is spread in the transverse direction over the corresponding court 2, the strip being placed either over the centre of this court or at one of its ends, leaving the other zones 3 exposed so that they act as training surfaces for driving a golf ball. A training or "putting" surface 4 is marked out on part of this strip of artificial turf and this surface is equipped with one or more golf holes. Moreover, shelters 7, arranged opposite the zones which have been left exposed in order to serve as training surfaces for driving a golf ball, are installed on the edges of this strip of artificial turf. The areas resulting from this conversion may be used both for training in driving a golf ball and for training in "putting".
