Summary:New lysine polymers intended to serve as supports for the preparation of reactants for diagnostics of haptenic allergies, in which the molecules have the same number of L-lysine radicals of between 8 and 20. The lysine polymers are characterised in that, after coupling with the haptenes, they comprise hydrophilic substituents alternating with hydrophobic substituents. The hydrophilic substituents consist of carboxylatoalkyl residues such as the adipic acid residue or of oligohydroxy residues such as the gluconic acid residue. The invention also relates to products for diagnosis for cutaneous tests intended to detect haptenic allergies, consisting of the products of coupling of lysine polymers with haptens. It also relates to products for diagnosis for serological tests, consisting of a solid support on to which have been attached the products of coupling of the lysine polymers with haptens.
