The subject of the present invention is a heating furnace. It comprises a flexible movable curtain 4 which is arranged in front of the exit opening 2 of the furnace, and means 19 for bringing this curtain either into a first position in which it completely covers this opening 2, or into a second position in which it is moved sufficiently away therefrom to allow the exit door 3 to be lowered; the curtain 4 is formed by a series of juxtaposed vertical strips 4a and 4b, some of the strips 4b not being laterally connected to the rest of the curtain.
