Summary:Method for producing, by extrusion, solid profiles having a low moisture pickup (regain) and having a variable density, based on a mixture of wood chips and of recycled thermoplastic materials, characterised in that a single-screw extruder 1, with outgassing, fitted at its end with a profile die, is fed first of all in its inlet zone with wood chippings and then with molten recycled plastic material from an auxiliary exterior source at a point located before the outgassing zone.
