Summary: | The device according to the invention comprises a guiding structure 1 produced as integrated optics in a substrate 1 made from material having electrooptic properties in which two separate modes can be propagated. Using an electrooptic effect, with the aid of a set of electrodes (E11-E42) supplied by multiphase voltages (S1, S2, S3), moving coupling points are created and interact with a guided wave. The interaction results in an exchange of energy from one guided mode to another and a frequency change.
LE DISPOSITIF SELON L'INVENTION COMPREND UNE STRUCTURE GUIDANTE 1 REALISEE EN OPTIQUE INTEGREE DANS UN SUBSTRAT 1 EN MATERIAU A PROPRIETES ELECTRO-OPTIQUES DANS LAQUELLE PEUVENT SE PROPAGER DEUX MODES DISTINCTS. PAR EFFET ELECTRO-OPTIQUE, A L'AIDE D'UN JEU D'ELECTRODES (E-E) ALIMENTES PAR DES TENSIONS POLYPHASEES (S, S, S), DES POINTS DE COUPLAGE EN MOUVEMENT SONT CREES ET INTERAGISSENT SUR UNE ONDE GUIDEE. L'INTERACTION SE TRADUIT PAR UN ECHANGE D'ENERGIE D'UN MODE GUIDE A L'AUTRE ET UN CHANGEMENT DE FREQUENCE. |
