Summary:Ratchet spanner in which is incorporated an ultrasonic transducer assembly 14 for measuring the tightening tension of a bolt 10. The assembly 14 is mounted inside a cavity 12 formed in the hollow body 2 of the spanner by the intermediary of a swivel-type linkage system 26 allowing angular displacements of the assembly 14 with respect to the body of the spanner. The invention ensures a perfect contact of the head of the transducer with the surface 56 of the head of the bolt even in the case in which the tightening spanner is inclined with respect to its normal position during the tightening.
