Summary:The object of the invention is to minimise manual handling. The device comprises a support 4 with horizontal direction, a guiding frame 6 extending transversely X-X, a gathering assembly 5, formed of series of spaced teeth 13a and a conduit 6a for transferring the shellfish which is oriented transversely X-X and has an upper reception opening 7a and a discharge opening at one end, means 9 for transferring the shellfish in this conduit 6a and means 17, 19 for driving the gathering assembly 5 in closed circuit around the guiding frame 6. The invention applies advantageously to the gathering of oysters.
