Summary:The continuous operation drawing bench produces thin walled tubes using a link drawing material. The bench has a drawing die and two parallel drag chains (21,22) fitted in front of the die and comprising pressure elements. The drag chain has in one of its links a stop lug (24) which is movable in a direction perpendicular to the drawing axis. This design allows continuous feed of the blank and at the same time the magnitude of the penetration force of the blank through the die is reduced. The stop lug is a lever (39) swivelling around a joint (38) with a spiral spring (40). The swivel motion of the arm is controlled by an axial cam on the face surface of the driving sprocket disc (43).
