Summary:The invention relates to a goods waggon unit consisting of double-axle flat waggons with a low loading surface. The object of the invention is to provide a goods waggon unit which, even at a floor level of 800 mm, fulfils all the requirements for it to be freely used in international traffic. The invention is aimed at achieving the objective set by means of a special constructional design of essential components whilst using to a large extent standardised components and assemblies. According to the invention, the pulling device (6) is arranged inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, the maximum vertical force (V1) on the hitch (8) with respect to the maximum vertical force (V2) at the hitch (12) of a coupled normal waggon (7) corresponding to the ratio V1 </= V2 and the short buffer (5) acting counter to an essentially wedge-shaped buffer plate (20), the axle holder carrier (30) being formed from an angular profile whose horizontal leg (32) covers the leaf carrying spring at the level of the floor plate (35) and the distance between the longitudinal carrier webs (45) and/or between the longitudinal carrier booms (44) in the central region (48) being smaller than in the region (46) of the running gear.
