Summary:The system automatically makes special services available to telephone subscribers, in particular it produces printed telephone call bills on demand. When a bill for charges, for example, is requested by a subscriber (PA) who is connected to the telephone exchange (CT), the exchange connects his line to an input (EA). The input circuit (CE) assigned to the input forwards the subscriber's request to a central control unit (UC); a receiving circuit (RN) then receives the subscriber signals, whereupon - under the control of the central control unit - the service is made available to the subscriber. For this purpose, the aforementioned input (EA) is connected to an available output (SA); the connection of this output to the exchange is set up. Once the call has ended, the control unit (UC) prompts a printer (IMP) to print out itemised call details on a slip of paper.
