Summary: | Two parallel conducting bars, which may be resistors, are connected by a sliding cursor. The conductors are held in an insulating container with a close-fitting lid. Two parallel V-shaped tongues run longitudinally along the container base and, in their normal position, press against the container base and lid forming a seal which encloses the conductors and thus protects them. The tongues are made of a resilient, flexible, elastic material which may be insulating or, if coated or made from metal, allow the container base and lid to be electrically connected to provide an improved earthing arrangement. The cursor runs on guiding ribs. It has a deflecting plate inclined at a shallow angle to the rails which flattens the tongues in the vicinity of the cursor without causing an abrupt flexing of the material. A central control rod allows the cursor to be locked in a fixed position.
L'INVENTION CONCERNE UN DISPOSITIF ELECTRIQUE, NOTAMMENT UN POTENTIOMETRE RECTILIGNE, COMPORTANT, DANS UN BOITIER 11, 12 DES PISTES PARALLELES 20, 21 ET UN CURSEUR 30 QUI ASSURE UNE LIAISON ELECTRIQUE MOBILE ENTRE CES PISTES.IL COMPORTE DEUX LEVRES FLEXIBLES PARALLELES 13, 13, DISPOSEES LE LONG DE CHACUNE DES PISTES ENTRE LE FOND 11 DU BOITIER ET SA PARTIE SUPERIEURE 12, DE MANIERE A ASSURER L'ETANCHEITE, NOTAMMENT AUX POUSSIERES, SUR TOUTE LA LONGUEUR DU POTENTIOMETRE, AUSSI BIEN A L'ENDROIT DU CURSEUR, QUE SUR LE RESTE DE LA LONGUEUR DU DISPOSITIF, OU LA LEVRE VIENT EN CONTACT AVEC LE BOITIER A L'ENDROIT D'UNE NERVURE LONGITUDINALE 16 PRATIQUEE SUR CELUI-CI.LE CURSEUR COMPORTE DES RAMPES LATERALES POUR ASSURER UNE DEFORMATION PROGRESSIVE DES LEVRES, DE MANIERE A ASSURER LA CONTINUITE DE L'ETANCHEITE ENTRE L'EMPLACEMENT DU CURSEUR ET LE RESTANT DU DISPOSITIF. |
