Summary:The plate (2) fits into the end of a duct (12) carrying electrical wiring. It has tabs (22) pressed out of its surface, these turning down at right angles. Each has a tongue (23) angled outwards to grip the inner surfaces of the duct when the plate is in position. A plastics protective cover (3) fits over the top of the plate. This cover has lugs (31) mounted on its inner surface and passing through holes in the plate for form a lock. The edges of the cover also have a beaded flanged (32) which protects the duct and plate.
