Workpiece surface lapping machine - has pockets of workpiece cage set into eccentric rotation for time determined by formula (NL 29.3.78)

Summary: | The workpieces are fitted in the pockets of a workpiece cage and the cage and workpiece are set into rotation about the natural axis, together with the eccentricity of this axis of the cage about the axis of the drive shaft of the machine. In addition to the rotation, the shaft (1) of the workpiece cage (2) is turned about a non-coincident but parallel axis, which is eccentric w.r.t. the axis of the drive shaft. The operating time for the theoretical size of the total rotation eccentricity (C) of the axis of the workpiece cage (2) about the axis of the drive shaft is determined from the condition of the wear regularity on the complete surface of the workpiece (3). The amount of wear is computed according to a formula.
