Summary:The dialyser comprises a hollow core (18) connected to a blood-admission pipe (26). A membrane (22) and its support element (20) are connected to the core (18) and wound around the latter. At their opposite end they are connected to a discharge base (24) connected to a blood-discharge pipe (28). The connections avoid undesirable twisting of the blood pipes (26, 28) and the risks of damage to the membrane (22). The blood flows from the admission pipe (26) to the discharge pipe (28) via the membrane (22). The assembly is housed in a cover (12). A dialysis solution flows upwards through the turns of the membrane (22) and of its support element (20) and redescends through the inside of the hollow core (18). The solution describes an inverted U path eliminating the bubbling noise. The dialyser can be used for example in an artificial kidney.
