Summary:The invention relates to a device for the preservation of biological tissue samples using a preserving liquid from a tank, without the personnel handling the sample being exposed to said liquid, comprising: a container with an internal space in which the sample is accommodated, an upper zone and a lower zone, an upper cover including an inlet opening that communicates with the internal space and a lower cover including an outlet opening that communicates with the internal space, wherein the device also comprises two non-return valves located in the inlet and outlet openings, and a flexible bellows-type wall that encloses the internal space and extends from the upper zone to the lower zone of the container, which can be extended via an action of a user, allowing liquid to enter into the internal space.
