Summary:The invention relates to an expansion anchor (1) for anchoring in a fixed foundation made of concrete. According to the invention, the expansion anchor (1) comprises an expansion sleeve (14) with a slit, said expansion sleeve having, in the front section (15), a partial expansion (19) in the slit (18) and, at the same height, a recess (23) in an expansion section (20). The expansion of the expansion section (20) of the expansion sleeve (14) in the fixed foundation is improved by means of the local expansion (19) and the recess (23).
