Summary: | Pedal for motor vehicles with a safety mechanism for head-on collisions, pivotable around a shaft (22') attached to a support piece (1010'), and the safety mechanism comprising means that release the shaft (22') in the event of a head-on collision as a result of the action of activation means (4040'). The release means comprise a retention member (2020') that, in normal operating conditions of the pedal (11'), is arranged inserted at least partly in the support piece (1010'), retaining the rotation shaft (22') in the support piece (1010'), and at least one guide surface in the support piece (1010'), which guides the movement of the retention member (2020') in relation to said support piece (1010') in the event of a head-on collision in which the activation means (4040') act on the retention member (2020'), releasing the rotation shaft (22').
Pedal para vehículos motores con mecanismo de seguridad frente a colisiones frontales, pivotable alrededor de un eje (2;2') acoplado a una pieza soporte (10;10'), y comprendiendo el mecanismo de seguridad unos medios que liberan el eje (2;2') en caso de colisión frontal como consecuencia de la acción de unos medios de actuación (40;40'). Los medios de liberación comprenden un elemento de retención (20;20') que, en condiciones de funcionamiento normal del pedal (1;1'), se dispone insertado al menos parcialmente en la pieza soporte (10;10') reteniendo el eje de giro (2;2') en la pieza soporte (10;10'), y al menos una superficie de guiado en la pieza soporte (10;10'), que guía el desplazamiento del elemento de retención (20;20') con respecto a dicha pieza soporte (10;10') en caso de colisión frontal en donde los medios de actuación (40;40') actúan sobre el elemento de retención (20;20'), liberando el eje de giro (2;2'). |
