Summary:A stripping composition for paints, varnishes and lacquers which comprises 15% to 85% by weight of a solvent component, the solvent component being selected from apolar hydrocarbons with between 5 and 15 carbon atoms, the molecules of which do not have oxygen, nitrogen, sulphur or other polarizing atoms, and which have dielectric constants (K) of around 3, aromatic hydrocarbons that are harmful to health being expressly excluded 15% to 85% by weight of water 0% - 50% by weight of a surfactant component 0% to 10% by weight of an evaporation-adjusting hygroscopic component and an auxiliary component in a weight percentage such that, when present, the stripping composition is made up to 100%. The above-mentioned stripping composition may be obtained by mixing the anhydrous precursor composition that comprises all the components, with the exception of water. Composiciones decapantes, composiciones precursoras de las mismas, su procedimiento de preparación "in situ", y su uso para decapar de pinturas, barnices y lacas. Una composición decapante de pinturas, barnices y lacas, que comprende 15% a 85% en peso de un componente disolvente, estando el componente disolvente seleccionado entre hidrocarburos apolares de entre 5 y 15 átomos de carbono que no presentan en sus moléculas átomos de oxígeno, nitrógeno, azufre ni otros átomos polarizantes y tienen constantes dieléctricas (K) entre 3, excluyéndose expresamente los hidrocarburos aromáticos nocivos para la salud; 15% a 85% en peso de agua; 0%-50% en peso de un componente tensioactivo; 0% a 10% en peso de un componente higroscópico regulador de la evaporación; un componente auxiliar en un porcentaje en peso tal que, cuando está presente, se completa el 100% en paso de la composición decapante. La composición decapante anteriormente descrita se puede obtener mezclando la composición precursora anhidra que comprende todos los componentes a excepción de agua.
