Una composición farmacéutica caracterizada por comprender como ingredientes activos los componentes (a) o(b) que siguen:(a) 5 a 30% de un aceite extraído de las semillas de Carapa guianensis Aublet y 0,01% a 5% detetranortriterpenoides aislados desde el aceite de Carapa guianensis Aublet, en la que lostetranortriterpenoides son responsables de la actividad farmacéutica;(b) 0,01% a 5% de tetranortriterpenoides aislados desde el aceite de Carapa guianensis Aublet, en la quelos tetranortriterpenoides son responsables de la actividad farmacéutica;en la que la composición (a) o (b) comprende, además, como vehículos y/o aditivos, 0,5 a 6% de bases deemulsión; 0,2 a 2% de vaselina sólida; 0,05 a 0,1% de agentes conservantes; 2 a 20% de agentes humidificantes;0,1a 10% de 1,8-Cineol; y agua destilada, q.s.p. 100%.en la que la forma farmacéutica de la composición (a) o (b) es oral o tópica. The invention refers to pharmaceutical compositions based on oil extracted from the seeds of Carapa Guianensis Aublet and/or of chemical compounds isolated from this oil and responsible for its biological activity, the tetranortriterpenoids, presenting the following pharmacological activities: anti-allergenic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and immune modulating with reduced side effects and low cost. Such pharmaceutical compositions of this invention are aimed at the treatment, or prevention, or inhibition of allergenic an inflammatory conditions in human beings, through oral or topic use. In each one of these cases, the composition can be in the liquid or solid form. Compounds for topic use of this invention are atoxic, or with low toxicity, and, specially, provided in the semi-solid form (cream). The pharmaceutical compositions of this invention constitute an important therapeutic alternative for cutaneous and respiratory allergies, besides acting in different inflammatory reactions of allergenic origin or infectious origin. Therefore, these compositions are also used in the symptomatic treatment of rheumatic, inflammatory and degenerative processes, diverse traumas, pain and post surgery inflammation, acute painful syndromes, among others and it can be orally or topically administered.
