Summary:The invention relates to a bone regeneration product for human and veterinary use, containing melatonin as active principle, whereby toothpastes, gels, mouthwashes, bone re-absorption membranes and animal feed are provided with melatonin, in a proportion of between 0.1 % and 5 %, together with the addition of a low concentration of a colourless active antioxidant with a wide pH range, which is soluble in the medium used, substances having a synergic effect and a preservative. Utilización de la melatonina para la regeneración ósea de uso humano y veterinario como producto activo, que consiste en la incorporación sobre pastas de dientes, geles, colutorios, membranas de reabsorción ósea y piensos para animales de melatonina en una proporción que oscila entre el 0,1% al 5%, adicionándose un antioxidante activo y a baja concentración con amplio margen de pH soluble en el medio que se utilice e incoloro, así como sustancias con efecto sinérgico y un conservante.
