Summary:UN APARATO DE DIAGNOSTICO CARDIACO CONSISTE EN UNA CARCASA TUBULAR (1) PARA ELEMENTOS ELECTRONICOS Y DOS ELECTRODOS DE REGISTRO (2,3) UNIDOS ELECTRICAMENTE CON EL GRUPO ESTRUCTURAL Y DISPUESTOS EN LA PARTE DELANTERA Y TRASERA DE DICHA CARCASA. EN LA CARCASA (1) SE DISPONE UNA FUENTE DE TENSION, UNA UNIDAD INDICADORA DE GRAFICOS EXTENDIDA A LO LARGO DE LA CARCASA Y UN INTERRUPTOR DE ENTRADA Y SALIDA (6) SITUADO EN LA SUPERFICIE DE LA CUBIERTA OPUESTA A LOS ELEMENTOS DE REGISTRO (2,3). LA UNIDAD ELECTRONICA ASI COMO UNA UNIDAD DE CONTROL PARA LA UNIDAD INDICADORA (1) DE GRAFICOS. A TRAVES DEL ASENTAMIENTO DE LA CARCASA (1) EN UNA ZONA DEL CUERPO SE COLOCAN LOS ELECTRODOS (2,3) DE REGISTRO Y PUEDE CAPTARSE LA FRECUENCIA CARDIACA, UN ELECTROCARDIOGRAMA (EKG), EL CICLO QRS DE UNOS (EKE), UN ELECTROENCEFALOGRAMA (EEG) Y SIMILARES. DEBIDO A LA FORMA FINAL DE LA CARCASA (1) (ESTILOGRAFICA) CUYO CLIP SE UTILIZA COMO ELECTRODO DE REGISTRO (3) PUEDE LLEVARSE EL APARATO EN PRENDAS DE VESTIR. According to the present invention there is provided a cardiac diagnosis instrument including an elongated housing, diagnosis electronics accommodated within the housing and two pick-up electrodes mounted on one long side of the housing close to the front and rear ends of the instrument and electrically connected to the diagnosis electronics, a voltage source within the housing, a flat thin graphic display unit which extends along one side for a substantial part of the length of the housing on the opposite side to that on which the pick-up electrodes are located, an on-off switch, said graphic display unit and said on-off switch being electrically connected to the diagnosis electronics, said diagnosis electronics including evaluation electronics and actuation electronics for the graphic display unit, said housing having a tubular shape somewhat like that of a fountain pen, and by placing the housing on a region of the body of a patient, the pick-up electrodes may be pressed into contact with the skin of the patient and thus the frequency of the heart beat, an electrocardiogram (ECG), the QRS complex of an ECG, an electroencephalogram (EEG) or the like may be investigated through the medium of the pick-up electrodes. Preferably one of the pick-up electrodes is in the form of a holding clip starting from one end of the housing.
